The “bridge influence area” is a five-mile segment of I-5 where traffic flow is affected by the constriction associated with the Interstate Bridge. It stretches from SR 500 in Vancouver to approximately Columbia Boulevard in Portland and coincides with the Columbia River Crossing project area.
