Vancouver Transit Advisory Committee
The 26-member Vancouver Transit Advisory Committee was formed by the Columbia River Crossing (CRC) project,
the City of Vancouver, and C-TRAN to help create a Conceptual Design Report. The recommendations contained in
the report will be used by staff from CRC, the C-TRAN and the City of Vancouver to guide future development of
light rail in Vancouver.
This committee will build upon the alignment decision of the Vancouver City Council and the C-TRAN Board of Directors and
make recommendations that capture community preferences for the design and aesthetics of stations, streetscape, park and rides, and security.
The members include property owners along the Vancouver light rail alignment, surrounding neighborhood and business associations,
transit-dependent populations, commuters and design-oriented specialists.
The group is expected to meet monthly for about a year to develop a Conceptual Design Report.
